To ensure the quality of service for participants, the tournament has appointed 288 Travel as the official hospitality service of the tournament. All teams are mandated to book any hotel reservations through 288 Travel to ensure their place in the 2026 River City Cup. Any teams that do not comply will be a risk of forfeiting their acceptance.
By using 288 Travel as our booking service Richmond United and the River City Cup can offer our “Act of God” Clause. Should the event be canceled prior to 6:00 PM day of arrival for reasons beyond the Organizer’s control, all unoccupied reservations covered under our “Act of God” will be released at no charge: (1) If event is cancelled prior to 6:00 PM day of check-in, no penalty will be assessed; (2) If event is cancelled AFTER 6:00 PM day of check-in, all reservations are subject to a fee of one night’s room rate plus tax; (3) For occupied rooms, a check-out of 11:00 AM the following day is required to avoid further charges.
